As an Associate Environmental Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing environmental projects from conception to completion. You will work closely with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to ensure that projects are executed efficiently, within budget, and in compliance with all environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have a Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) license and a strong background in environmental consulting.
Responsibilities:
- Manage environmental projects, including site assessments, remediation, permitting, and compliance.
- Conduct field investigations and oversee environmental monitoring activities.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and permit applications.
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams.
- Participate in business development activities, including proposal preparation and client presentations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, geology, or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) license required.
- 6+ years of experience in environmental consulting or related field.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and environmental modeling software.
- Experience with GIS software is a plus.
