We are seeking an experienced Offshore Wind Business Development Assistant Manager to join an offshore wind developer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities within the offshore wind sector, managing existing client relationships, and coordinating multiple projects to ensure timely and successful delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute partnership strategies to identify and secure new business opportunities in the offshore wind sector
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in the industry, including utilities, developers, investors, and government agencies identify potential partnerships and joint ventures with other companies to enhance market position and capabilities
- Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to contract execution, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of progress
- Coordinate the development of proposals, contracts, and negotiation of terms with clients
- Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients and stakeholders
- Monitor industry trends and regulations to ensure the company is positioned appropriately
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in business development/ M&A within the offshore wind industry
- Strong understanding of the offshore wind market, regulatory environment, ad key players
- Proven track record of identifying and closing business opportunities
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
