Overview: We're seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Account Executive to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving sales and fostering client relationships in our dynamic industry. Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition: Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels to expand our customer base.
- Sales Strategies: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed targets.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, understanding their needs and providing suitable solutions.
- Product Knowledge: Gain in-depth knowledge of our products/services and effectively communicate their value propositions to clients.
- Sales Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, analyzing performance metrics and suggesting improvements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure a seamless client experience.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience and results in leading sales growth in a company with $30M-$50M and higher in revenue
- In depth knowledge of the principles and practices of event technology sales and marketing
- Thorough knowledge of current trends and advancements in event technology and the direction of equipment development
- Effective sales presentation skills
- Excellent negotiation skills: the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously within strict deadlines
- Ability to learn and effectively use software
- Good knowledge of common computer tools, such as Microsoft Office
- Excellent closing skills; Good persuasion skills
- Exceptional sense of priority; strong organizational skills; client-service orientation; tact; professionalism
- Ability to travel 30-50% of the time
Required Education and Experience:
- Completion of four years of post-secondary education from an accredited institution of higher learning with a concentration in business administration, operations management, or related entertainment technology fields
- 5+ Years in Event Production Sales
- Performed annual sales of $3M-$5M per year.
