Our client, a respected leader in the water and wastewater industry, is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join their team in Overland Park, Kansas City. This is a great opportunity for a driven professional to step into a leadership role, overseeing key water and wastewater projects and ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in design project management water and wastewater facilities, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Support project management activities, including planning, budgeting, and execution of water/wastewater initiatives.
- Supervise and mentor technical staff, ensuring team productivity and adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategies for operational improvement and efficiency.
- Prepare reports and maintain documentation to support regulatory compliance and internal audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in water/wastewater design or a related field.
- Strong understanding of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
