Water Resources Project Engineer /Project Manager - Kansas City/ Wichita
We are working with our client who is a leading firm across Kansas who are growing their Water Resources Team to join their dedicated team based in either Wichita or Kansas City. This firm offers employee ownership and is dedicated to making sure their engineers are well looked after while doing work that gives back to local and regional communities.
Responsibilities
- Manage and assist with water resources projects design
- Develop hydrologic and hydraulic models and perform analyses
- Prepare project reports, plans, and specifications
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
- Support business development efforts and client relationship management
- Perform occasional field inspections and assessments
Qualifications:
- BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- PE license
- Experience in water resources engineering and project management
- Proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- AutoCAD or GIS experience (a plus)
