On behalf of our client, a leading engineering firm, we are seeking an experienced Specialist Water Resources Drainage Engineer. This role requires 5-10 years of hands-on experience in water modeling and drainage design, either with experience on a range of projects or willingness to gain exposure to a wide variety of modeling projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct advanced water modeling using HEC RAS, HEC HMS, and 3D/2D software.
- Design and assess drainage systems for projects like dams, roadways or FEMA.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and guide the development of effective water management strategies.
- Review and validate engineering drawings and models.
- Keeping up to date about recent industry developments
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of drainage engineering experience, focusing on major infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in HEC RAS, HEC HMS, and 3D/2D modeling.
- Strong knowledge of FEMA water modeling.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
