Our client, a leader in the Live Events industry specializing in corporate events, festivals, and concerts, is seeking an experienced Live Events Warehouse Manager based in New York. This individual will lead the warehouse team and oversee the logistics of day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and organized processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and assign daily tasks to warehouse teams across all departments.
- Open and manage the warehouse for daily operations.
- Organize personnel and space for in-shop crew calls, ensuring efficiency.
- Oversee all inbound and outbound traffic, managing the flow of equipment and goods.
- Regularly assess warehouse staff performance; participate in recruitment, training, and terminations when necessary.
- Track and monitor equipment inventory, ensuring seamless transitions from shop to event and back.
- Ensure all gear is in optimal condition and "show ready" for events.
- Develop and implement training manuals and procedures for new employees.
- Coordinate closely with the logistics department for all events, including load-ins, shows, and shop calls.
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse, with a focus on daily upkeep.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and on time. This includes, but is not limited to, order forms, pick tickets, rental agreements, shipping documents, vendor packing lists, and other operational paperwork.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and implement procedural changes to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Work well under hard deadlines; ability to plan department workflow accordingly
- Solid understanding of department production equipment and functionality
- 5 years of experience working with various production equipment (Audio/Video/LED/Lighting/Rigging/etc.)
- Strong ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve in a time-sensitive production environment
- Required education and experience
Experience in Audio , Video, Lighting Inventory environment preferred
- General Computer knowledge (Inventory systems a plus)
- Minimum 5 years of applicable experience
