SALARY RANGE: $160,000 - $200,000
REPORTS TO: Florida Division Manager

With a small company who has the horsepower to tackle large scale private and public sector site civil engineering and development, land planning, water and wastewater utilities, road and infrastructure projects, and a whole lot more.
Typical responsibilities include supervising, coordinating, and reviewing the work of other professionals, particularly in managing larger and/or multidiscipline projects. This includes meetings and coordination with municipal, county, and state clients. The selected candidate will also work with the region manager and Human Resources on staffing, hiring, and training needs. They will also lead project design teams, providing assistance in designing municipal drainage systems, hydraulic studies, and pumping stations.

POSITION DUTIES:
- Supervises, coordinates, and/or reviews the work of other professionals.
- Meetings and coordination with municipal, county and state clients.
- Manage larger and/or multidiscipline projects.
- Work with region manager and Human Resources on staffing needs, utilization, hiring, and training needs.
- Lead project design teams.
- Assistance with the design of municipal drainage systems, hydraulic studies, and pumping stations.
- Assist with hydraulic and hydrologic modeling designs for drainage basins, water quality improvements and stormwater collection systems.
- Perform analyses using Geographic Information System (GIS) tools.
- Prepare stormwater master plan reports and preliminary engineering reports.
- Obtaining permits related to stormwater management.
- Assist with construction engineering services for municipal, county and state clients.
- Assist project engineers as needed during project delivery.
- Hold additional roles within the company and serve on committees and special project teams.
- Make frequent contact with clients and offer tailored solutions that meet the client's needs and align with the company's capabilities.
- Assist with business development efforts within the region.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 10 or more years of experience in the design/management of Stormwater projects.
- Professional Engineer license in the State of Florida (or transfer from another state) is required.
- Experience in Consulting Engineering, Public Works, or Construction preferred.
- ICPR3 or ICPR4 modeling experience is preferred.
- Experience and knowledge of regulatory agency requirements pertaining to stormwater design.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent technical writing skills.
- Strong written, verbal, computer, and organizational skills.
