Responsibilities:
* Assist as a liaison between Utility Agency Owners (UAOs), designers, and government agencies
* Perform records research, field reviews, and identify potential utility conflicts by reviewing plans
* Determine the need for Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE)
* Support engineer of record in the development of utility conflict matrices
* Develop and track utility work schedules
* Assist in determining the responsible agency for utility reimbursement
* Aid in the preparation and submittal of Utility Certification/Clear Packages in adherence to the project schedule
* Participate in constructability reviews
Qualifications:
* 4 years of FDOT utility coordination experience
* Experience working with FDOT Utility Procedures Manual (UPM), and FDOT Utility Accommodation Manual (UAM)
* Thorough understanding of bridge, roadway, and utility construction processes Other Experience Knowledge a plus, but not required:
* Experience in OpenRoads/MicroStation
* Experience in AutoCAD/Civil 3D
* Knowledge of FDOT Utility Work by Highway Contractor Plans Development
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
* Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration
* Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language
* Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members
