We have a current opportunity for a Traveling Senior Superintendent with experience in tiltwall construction to join a general contractor local to the Southeast. Our client is a mid-sized industrial general contractor that punches well above their weight class with project sizes around $40m+, while still retaining a small-family, tight-knit company culture where everyone is more than just a number. Candidates can be based anywhere in the United States as long as they are willing to travel onsite, and do not live too far from an airport.
Key responsibilities:
- Travel to project sites all across the southeast
- Manage and coordinate all on-site activities, including coordinating with subcontractors
- Ensure site safety and compliance with all safety regulations
- Collaborate with project managers and other staff to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of project
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor progress and tackle any issues that arise
Qualifications:
- 15+ years construction experience
- Experience handling commercial and/or industrial projects worth $30m+ required, especially warehouses and manufacturing plants
- Positive, innovative attitude with ability to work within a team
- High school diploma or higher
- Computer literate, with experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Procore, or other construction-related software
- Ability to travel to projects is a must
