We are looking for a traveling project manager to work with one of the leading construction companies in the US, specializing in mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing projects for large hospitals, R&D facilities, Industrial and commercial buildings, and data centers. Our client, a mechanical contractor affiliated with a larger nationwide group of companies, is expanding their project backlog and is looking for experienced and driven PMs to help carry this backlog through.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and manage large-scale ground-up mechanical projects across the US on-site
- Build and foster relations with existing clients and maintain the company's reputation
- Handle smaller change orders and procurement
- Manage a team of laborers and tradesmen to execute mechanical projects on time and on budget
Key requirements
- 3-5 years project management experience working for a mechanical contractor
- Tenure on projects worth $20m+ an absolute must
- Proven track record with complex mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing/process piping projects
- Experience in the trades a plus
- Ability to travel across the US to projects an absolute requirement
