Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Construction Manager to oversee the construction of data centers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with a focus on data center projects. As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee all phases of construction projects from inception to completion, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage on-site construction teams, including subcontractors, vendors, and consultants, to ensure project goals are met.
- Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure all construction activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on data center projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and best practices.
