As a member of this team, you would contribute to their mission by: Developing new business and maintaining high-value relationships with transportation clients for DOT's, municipalities, transit and urban services in the Florida market, and potentially other areas as needed.
* Developing and managing client teams that include project managers, technical specialists, national leaders, as well as junior staff to develop strategic capture plans, proposal efforts, presentations, and other efforts of business development.
* Serving as a key member of our strategy team promoting growth in Florida as well as supporting other regional growth initiatives.
* Serving as a technical or project lead as needed on projects of significant size and strategic importance.
* Performing Business Development / Marketing efforts
* Project / Construction Management of Florida CEI projects
* Proposal development and response
* Leading local CEI group operations
* Being active in professional societies in which clients or potential clients are members.
* Being a strong leader internally and externally.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
* Professional engineering (PE) license
* 12 years of related experience
* Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
* Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience in business development, assisting with the proposal process and presenting/meeting with DOT, municipal, transit and urban based clients in Florida, strongly preferred.
* FDOT CEI certifications or other transportation related certifications.
* Progressive transportation construction engineering or management experience with a demonstrated ability to lead and successfully serve clients.
* Excellent communication, networking and team building skills.
* Strong experience meeting and working with State of Florida and Florida county and/or municipal transportation agencies.
* Transportation Engineering or planning experience at an Engineering Consulting firm in the Florida market.
Qualified in FDOT Local Government Project Procedures
* FDOT Design-Build project experience is a plus
