Title: Transmission Line Engineer - Mid-Senior Level
Salary: 110,000+
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review detailed designs for transmission lines, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Lead and oversee projects from conception through execution, coordinating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Perform structural analysis, load calculations, and material selection to enhance line performance and safety.
- Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning of transmission lines.
- Ensure all designs and installations meet or exceed applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.
- Integrate the latest technologies and methodologies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance system reliability.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, plans, and documentation for projects and proposals.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in transmission line design, analysis, or related engineering roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software, PLS-CADD, and structural analysis tools. Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., NESC, IEEE).
- Certification: Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex engineering problems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
