My client is a leading electrical contractor specializing in power delivery, industrial, and renewable energy construction projects. To assist the Project Manager with tasks related to safety, planning, scheduling, cost tracking, reporting (both internal and customer-facing), performance monitoring, budgeting, estimating, managing change orders, billing, and bid preparation.
Qualifications:
- Preferred BS/BA in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-4 years of experience in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related role within a utility construction environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of proposals and estimates, including performing drawing take-offs.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to establish the job structure from the outset, covering safety protocols, scheduling, document control, cost codes, cost distribution, material/tooling plans, equipment needs, and billing.
- Coordinate with the purchasing department for material orders and required submittals.
- Travel regularly to project sites as needed.
- Provide weekly project progress updates to the Project Manager.
- Assist with quoting change orders based on drawing changes, RFIs, and other updates.
- Support the Project Manager in preparing the monthly financial bridge, job forecasts, and monthly reports.
Knowledge:

- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with familiarity in Primavera - P6, and Microsoft Project.
