Traffic Engineer - Sacramento, CA

This is an incredible opportunity for someone with expertise in traffic/transportation engineering to make impactful changes within their local communities with the support of a national level firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing effective traffic management strategies and providing technical support on a variety of traffic-related projects (traffic studies, traffic control plans, traffic calming design, corridor studies, traffic signal design, traffic signal timing, etc.)
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with various local parties and stakeholders as well as support Southern California project teams
- As needed, assist in the preparation of engineering service proposals such as RFP including scope of work, schedule, and fee proposal
Candidate Qualifications:
- 3+ years of traffic/transportation engineering experience in private or public sector
- Valid Traffic Engineer (TE) license
- Knowledge of California traffic-related laws, regulations, codes, and commonly-used technical manuals
- Proficient in Synchro and/or SimTraffic
