A top international multidisciplinary enigneering firm has an exciting opportunity for a full time Senior Traffic/planning Engineer based in their Melbourne office.
Reporting to the General Manager - Traffic Engineering, this position is responsible for the management and coordination of Traffic Engineering and Planning activities across the organisation.
Duties
Working experience of undertaking traffic impact assessments
Coordinate and prepare traffic staging design drawings for minor and major projects
Review and develop construction traffic management reports and traffic guidance schemes for major projects
End to End Project Management on a variety of projects and clients
Develop close working relationships with new and existing clients
A good understanding of relevant legislation and codes of practice and relevant Australian Standards
Keep informed of industry trends, current, forecasted and competitor activities
Skills & Experience
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent tertiary qualification
8+ years' experience as a traffic engineer in Melbourne
Provision of accurate and efficient drafting services (microstation or AutoCAD)
High level of computer literacy
Clear and concise communication skills with a focus on attention to detail
