Our client, a leading provider of low voltage technology solutions, is seeking an experienced and certified Technology Project Manager (RCDD) to join their dynamic team in Denver, Colorado. This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid work model, with the option to work from home two days a week. The successful candidate will oversee and manage various low voltage technology projects, including structured cabling, audio-visual systems, security systems, and telecommunications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end project execution for low voltage systems, including structured cabling, AV, security, and telecommunications.
- Oversee project planning, ensuring on-time, within-budget completion, from concept through to delivery.
- Provide expert technical guidance and support to project managers, engineers, technicians, and clients, facilitating successful implementation of low voltage solutions.
- Conduct site assessments, developing detailed system designs in accordance with client needs and industry standards.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation, including system designs, specifications, and installation guidelines.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders to ensure project compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Attend project meetings, offering expert insights and ensuring smooth coordination between all parties.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, implementing improvements as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification is required.
- 5+ years of experience in low voltage systems design, installation, and project management.
- Expertise in structured cabling, audio-visual systems, security systems, and telecommunications.
- Proficient in industry-standard design software and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring collaborative and successful project outcomes.
