One of the leading Energy Conglomerates Globally is looking to bring on Systems Engineer professional to join their e-Mobility team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing full cycle solutions for both their hardware and software device solutions for EV Charging fleet infrastructure product enhancements. You will play a critical role in interfacing with both third-party and internal products to create customer-focused solutions. This role will be reporting directly to the Head of eMobility Architecture.
Key Responsibilities, Systems Engineer:
- Work with the e-Mobility AC Charging System team to develop and implement customer-focused solutions
- Create standardized product requirements for EV standards
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the latest technologies and industry trends in the e-Mobility AC Charging space
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions
- Generate proof of concept for new product requirements based on the software/hardware platforms
- Develop hardware/software solutions for EVSE product enhancements
- Present technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Contribute to the development of product road-maps and strategic plans
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance the customer experience
- Maintain and improve IoT EVSE network performances
Qualifications, Systems Engineer:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
- 8-15 years of experience in the IT industry
- Strong understanding of e-Mobility AC Charging systems OR HV Products and their applications is preferred (not required)
- Exposure cloud solutions, test automation, application development, data analytics
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Application Development using C and Python for AM335X embedded platforms
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and it is preferred if you are familiar with SAE J772, OCPP and other EV management protocols
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams
