Structural Engineer, PE

We are looking for a full-time Structural Engineer (PE) to join our Fort Worth office. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design structural solutions using Revit and AutoCAD for various sectors, including commercial, education, healthcare, industrial, historical, and hospitality. Your responsibilities will include preparing construction drawings, performing calculations, creating technical specifications, and overseeing projects to ensure deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage structural projects from design through construction using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Coordinate with internal departments and clients to develop structural solutions.
- Prepare reports, perform calculations, manage schedules, and estimate costs.
- Communicate with contractors, answer RFIs, and inspect work through site visits.
- Mentor junior engineers and serve as a technical resource.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering.
- PE or SE license.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Structural Engineer.
- At least 4 years of experience with Revit and/or AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of regulatory and permitting requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the consulting industry.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., RISA, Tekla Tedds).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Active involvement in engineering or industry associations.
Physical Demands: Primarily a sedentary role with occasional walking, lifting, and site visits requiring bending, squatting, climbing, and reaching overhead.
Position Details: Full-time, exempt position with flexible scheduling options. Core hours are 9 am - 4 pm.
