We are currently working with an international leader in the renewable energy space with a renewable project pipeline in excess of 1GW in the region.
They are now looking for a seasoned Engineering leader to join the ranks of the rapidly growing Korean Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility for the overall engineering and execution of the company's solar PV projects in the region
- Conduct evaluation of project opportunities - carry out technical due diligence on potential projects in alignment with cross functional teams including asset management teams
- Perform shading analysis, initial transport surveys as well as coordinate site specific surveys through existing contractors
- Responsible for the implementation of South Korean standards into the project design and Quality guidelines throughout construction
- Stay abreast of current and emerging research and trends in the field of solar PV systems incl. certifications
- Support construction management at the coordination of grid connection works with utilities and contractors - commissioning activities with authorities and contractors
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study - Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, etc.
- More than 5 years of experience in Power plant engineering and related development disciplines i.e Grid Connection - Experience in Solar PV Highly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, AutoCAD and industry specific design and simulation tools
- Detail focused individual - ability to drive production of designs and engineering solutions in a high paced environment
- Familiar with the development process for utility scale solar projects in Korea
- Excellent communicator in both Korean and English
