Job Title: Senior Transmission Line Design Engineer (Fully Remote Flexible)
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Transmission Line Design Engineer to lead, manage the design as well as develop OH line solutions. This role is crucial in driving optimization and enhancement of transmission line systems, ensuring efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the structural design of transmission lines up to 420 kV.
- Manage the full design life cycle of transmission line projects, from concept through to final design and construction.
- Prepare comprehensive design solution packages, including drawings and detailed reports.
- Ensure designs meet relevant structural code requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct cost-effective designs based on industry, company, and client specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize project outcomes and ensure design integrity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
- 8-10+ years of experience in transmission line engineering
- Extensive experience in the design and optimization of transmission lines with a focus on PLS-CADD and/or PLS-TOWER.
- Proven ability to deliver cost-effective and efficient transmission line designs.
- Strong understanding of technical standards, codes, and best practices related to T&D
- Experience in all phases of transmission line projects
