Our utility client currently has an opening for an experienced substation engineer with flexibly to bring you on either as a mid-level engineer, senior engineer, or lead engineer.
Position requirements / desired skill set:
- Ideal applicant will either come from a substation design and/or protection & control design background.
- 4-15+ years of engineering experience on utility substations from 115-345kV.
- Develop one line and three line diagrams, substation physical, and/or protection & control design.
- Responsible for providing detailed drawings & utility equipment specifications.
- Comfortable working with bill of materials and working with breakers, power transformers, SCADA, etc.
- PE License preferred but NOT required. Ability to get the PE within 6-12 months and/or a current EIT preferred.
MANDATORY requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering.
- MUST be presently in the US and able to relocate to Missouri.
- MUST have previous US experience working on US utility projects.
- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future - must be US Citizen, Green Card holder, etc.
