As a Senior Project Manager located in Los Angeles, CA, you will have the chance to work alongside a diverse team on important, impactful projects throughout the Los Angeles area. Qualifications
Ideal candidates will hold a BSCE degree and possess California registration as a Professional Civil Engineer, along with about a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in land development and/or public works, or a total of twelve (12) years of equivalent industry experience. Additionally/ideally, candidates should have at least eight (8) years of management experience overseeing engineers, designers, and project support teams.

Managerial Experience Should Include:

- Preparation and oversight of contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work; substantial experience in client interactions related to contracts and proposals.
- Extensive experience in engaging with clients and public agencies.
Technical Experience Should Include:
- Site assessments and the ability to conduct engineering design studies that address infrastructure needs and regulatory considerations.
- Preparation and processing of regulatory plans.
- Development of public improvement plans in support of public agencies and capital improvement initiatives.
- Creation and processing of plans for land development projects.
- Expertise in navigating plans through the Los Angeles and Ventura County Public Works departments.
- Capability to conduct constructability reviews.
- Experience with various construction support services.
Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Microsoft Project, and Bluebeam is required.
Additional Skills:
- Application of engineering principles, techniques, and procedures in design.
- Understanding of business and management principles related to strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership, production processes, hiring methods, and team coordination.
- Ability to take responsibility for the design team's direction, control, and planning; set realistic goals, and create independent plans.
- Comprehensive knowledge of jurisdictional processes.
- Strong negotiation skills.
