Senior Project Manager - Construction (Philadelphia)
My client is looking to fill a need for an exciting Senior Project Manager role to fill in their Philadelphia office.
They are well established in the construction sector and are a leading US contractor, specializing in multiple sectors including Multifamily, Commercial and Government and Healthcare projects; to name a few!
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 year's experience as a Project Manager
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management (or equivalent experience in construction field)
- Prior experience building commercial construction projects in Philadelphia is preferred
- LEED Certification preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of a construction-management projects; as well as mentoring multiple Project Managers and Engineers
- Direct and supervise work of project administration, project superintendents, and engineers to establish operational priorities
- Produce all elements of project execution plan and implement
- Provide job-site leadership in the area of safety and quality
- Maintain satisfactory relationships with owners, subcontractors, unions, etc
- Manage emotions effectively in ourselves and our relationships
- Drive Team Accountability - Determine priorities and delegate work; monitor and communicate progress
- Establish measures to assess the impact, quality and timeliness of results; praise success and learn from mistakes
- Coach and Develop Others - Provide feedback, instruction, and development guidance to help others excel in their current or future job responsibilities
- Plan for and support development of individual skills and abilities
