Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer - Data Centers (Fully Remote)

Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 + Bonus

Role Overview: The client is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in data center design. In this role, you will lead the development of advanced mechanical systems for some of the most complex and innovative data center projects worldwide. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving the client's commitment to delivering energy-efficient, sustainable solutions that meet the stringent demands of the digital infrastructure sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead mechanical design efforts for large-scale data center projects, ensuring high levels of reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, and project managers to deliver best-in-class solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies, applying them to improve the client's design processes and outcomes.
- Interface with clients to understand their needs and translate them into robust mechanical engineering solutions.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on data center or mission-critical facility design.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, chilled water systems, CRAC/CRAH units, and other mechanical systems relevant to data centers.
- Proficient in using engineering software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fully remote environment.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
