Job Description: Senior Mechanical Engineer
Location: Adelaide
Experience: 7-15 years in Design & Construction (D&C) projects, specifically in water/wastewater treatment.
Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Senior Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in water/wastewater treatment projects. The successful candidate will possess strong technical knowledge and be capable of working independently, focusing primarily on design rather than project management. This role will involve contributing to a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring comprehensive design management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute engineering calculations and design/drafting work in mechanical disciplines.
- Develop detailed mechanical designs for water treatment projects.
- Work efficiently within a small, tight-knit team to deliver high-quality projects.
- Provide technical expertise in the construction and operational phases of water treatment plants.
- Implement practical engineering solutions to meet project goals.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and client requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical).
- Chartered Engineer status and/or RPEQ certification is preferred.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in design, construction, and operation within water treatment.
- Strong technical design engineering skills, with the ability to execute detailed calculations and drafting.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a small, cohesive team.
