Position: Senior Geotechnical Engineer/Project Engineer

With six dedicated owners and a workforce of over 850 employees, the company is expanding its Geotechnical Department and is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, Senior Geotechnical Project Engineer, and Project Geologist to join their team.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Professional with experience in managing the geotechnical aspects of projects. This role involves performing geotechnical analyses, providing foundational recommendations, and ensuring quality throughout the construction process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Deliver high-quality geotechnical services, ensuring projects are completed on-time and within budget.
- Technical Expertise: Prepare and refine reports, specifications, plan details, and designs for various projects.
- Team Collaboration: Serve as a technical resource on a multidisciplinary team, coordinating with other engineers and professionals.
- Field Work: Manage and oversee subsurface exploration programs, conducting site investigations and on-site work as required.
- Cost Estimation: Prepare cost estimates, define scope of work, and contribute to proposal development.
- Design Software: Utilize design software to develop engineering recommendations.
- Design/Build Support: Consult with construction personnel to address field conditions, sequencing, and scheduling of activities.
- Client Engagement: Participate in project scoping, fee estimating, proposal preparation, and client interviews.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering required; Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in geotechnical design. Experience with static and dynamic load testing, site grading, slope stabilization, retaining wall, and foundation construction is highly desirable.
- Certification: Professional Engineer (PE) Certification required.
- Additional Skills: Design-build experience is a plus.
