The Opportunity: As a Senior ESD Consultant (Environmental Sustainable Design), you will be working for an acclaimed, national firm that provides diverse consultancy services to all Australian industries, such as Defence, Power Stations, Mines, Heavy Industry, and Infrastructure.
They provides professional advise and technical expertise across building and architectural acoustics, environmental noise, wind farm noise, occupational noise, environmental vibration, oil & gas, structural, and machine reliability services.
You will have the opportunity to work on various projects, providing consulting advise on environmental design, building energy optimisation, sustainable systems waste, and many more!

Role & Responsabilities:
- Work closely with various clients to ensure their building projects' sustainability goals and objectives are satisfied.
- Assist clients to obtain their green building certifications such as LEED, and/or other relevant certifications.
- Assess architectural plans and suggest energy-saving measures.
- Provide guidance on insulation, lighting, HVAC systems, renewable energy sources, and insulation to reduce energy use and increase efficiency.
- Provide expertise and guidance on sourcing sustainable materials compliant with respective environmental legislations and standards
- Evaluate building sites' environments to find potential for sustainable design, such as water conservation, and site selection.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior staff.
- Provide comprehensive reports and detailed documentations to both internal and external stakeholders (clients).
- Familiar with up-to-date green building practices.
