- Oversee staff and subcontractors performing field tasks (such as drilling, sampling, maintenance, and routine testing).
- Perform site testing, design/optimize remediation systems, assess potential remedial options, and generate thorough cost estimates.
- Evaluate, select, and use common engineering analysis methodologies and procedures.
- Compile and analyze environmental data using spreadsheets, databases, and geographic information systems (GIS).
- Assist in the development of technical reports and presentations that are accurate and professional.
- Research and review of environmental implications should be documented.
- Exceptional abilities and knowledge of health and safety practices and protocols are required.

- Understand and implement methods for quality assurance and quality control, including critical assessments of work by junior employees.
