We have an exciting openings for a Senior/Lead Electrical Engineer to work on utility-scale solar & BESS projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for any engineer that's ready to have a larger role and responsibility for a leading IPP/developer that's currently developing & acquiring renewable energy plants across the US.
Opportunity to sit 100% full time remote but for candidates that prefer a hybrid set up we can provide a list of our hubs & satellite hubs if preferred.
Snippet of the role responsibilities:
- Join a team that's on the forefront of leading utility-scale solar & BESS projects around various US utility markets including ERCOT, MISO, PJM, CAISO.
- Provide SME input on all things electrical engineering related when it comes to design, development, operations and execution of projects.
- Act as a liaison with asset management, development, construction and other teams within the business.
- Provide insight into equipment and vendor decisions & selection. Be a resource for EORs/EPCs to work with.
Qualifications to apply:
- Minimum of 4-5+ years of work experience as an engineer.
- Minimum 2 years of US project experience for US employer.
- Four year bachelors degree in electrical engineering (or similar preferred).
- Deep technical experience with three of the following: solar design/engineering, BESS projects, MV/LV electrical diagrams, design, solar operations & maintenance, power systems, electrical controls, substations, site electrical design, PV commissioning, protection & control operations, relay settings, SCADA systems, communication/networking, substations, solar or BESS operations.
- Strong organizational skills and willingness to learn.
- PE Licensed not required but a plus.
