This Texas-based civil engineering consultancy are looking for a Senior Drainage Engineer in Dallas who will be responsible for:
- Providing engineering and design expertise for projects relating to hydraulic structures and systems such as storm sewer systems, culverts, bridges, roadside ditch systems, drainage channels and natural stream improvements.
- Leading the preparation of drainage studies and storm water hydraulic models such as InnovyseยฎXPSWM, EPA SWMM, ICPR, WinStorm, and HEC Programs.
- Leading technical client relationships and plays a significant role in business development
- Providing estimates for engineering fee budgets and schedules to meet project requirements
- Applying technical expertise to review, approve, and seal work
- Supporting the work of others and mentoring junior level engineers & design/drafting technical staff.
- Ensuring project compliance with all company practices and quality, safety, and governmental design standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited University
- 7+ years of relevant experience in drainage systems modeling and design
- Valid Professional Engineering License in Texas (or ability to obtain within 4 months)
- Experience in the production and delivery of complete H&H Models, Drainage Studies and Designs.
- Familiar with MS Office Software (TEAMS, Word, Excel, Project)
