Position Overview: As an Automation Engineer with PLC programming experience, you will play a pivotal role in the development, implementation, and maintenance of our automated systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, optimise production, and ensure the highest level of quality in our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement PLC-based automation solutions to streamline production processes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify automation opportunities and requirements.
- Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC systems to ensure seamless operation.
- Integrate automation systems with existing manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of automation solutions to guarantee reliability and performance.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
- Proven experience in PLC programming, configuration, and troubleshooting (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar platforms).
- Proficiency in HMI and SCADA systems.
- Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Modbus, etc.).
- Familiarity with robotics, motion control, and servo systems is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate technical concepts.
- Problem-solving mindset with a keen attention to detail.
