Senior Construction Inspector in Virginia Beach!
Our client is looking to hire a skilled and experienced construction inspector. As part of their dynamic team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety standards on heavy civil construction sites such as highways, bridges and design build projects.

Responsibilities:
- Provide construction management support, including inspection and monitoring of construction structures to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Monitor the activities of other Inspectors
- Communicate effectively across different platforms with project management, clients, stakeholders, and contractors
- Providing expert advice to contractors regarding best practices for material usage
- Record keeping and reporting as required
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree (in Civil Engineering preferred).
- 5+ years relevant experience working within materials and standards related to roadway and facilities
- Inspection experience including roadway , asphalt , concrete , pavement markings , structure and bridge construction methods is a plus
- VDOT Material Certifications is a plus
