I am working with a Security Integrator in NYC to help them find a highly experienced Sales Engineer with a background in Security Integration.
This position will be a support roll that will work between the Sales and Engineering teams. True to a standard Sale Engineering position in the security industry, the roll will support the sales initiative. The Sales Engineer will supply pre-sale technical services during client/partner/manufacturer interactions to determine project needs/requirements, technology suitability and required integration for the purpose of creating a proposal. In this role the Sales Engineer will be required to understand how to estimate and quote projects as well as have an advanced grasp of various technologies, methodologies and industry standards. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that quotes produced are followed though by capturing all relevant requirements and aspects and that they are documented in detail. This will be followed though by managing the pass down processes to the Engineering team and Project Management though established tools and processes. This role will be in support of global projects but with a focus in New York's 5 borrows, primary travel will be in the NY Metro area with infrequent out of area requirements.
