Title: Senior Solar Engineer
The Company: A nationally leading developer/EPC in DG/C&I/Community Solar scale projects is looking for a highly accomplished Structural Engineer to join their growing team. They have an established record of over 3GW of collective development experience nationwide and pride themselves as a "one-stop-shop" for large-scale, custom solar PV and energy storage solutions. To date, they have contributed to 5 Million pounds CO2 offset and over $1 billion in their project fund!
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing/responsible for all 30/60/90/IFC design sets for permitting and construction purposes
- Create economic optimization analysis and designs for DG/small utility scale solar/ev=energy storage projects
- Interface with clients and ensure timely delivery and quality of all engineering due diligence on projects through construction and commissioning
- Manage a team of junior project engineers
- Manage multiple projects at various stages
Key qualifications
- 5+ years in PV design and installation for DG/utility scale solar projects
- BS in Engineering, electrical preferred
- Strong knowledge of NEC code and standards in the PV markets
- Experience designing PV projects in various states
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM, PVsyst
