The Senior/Principal Environmental Engineer will be responsible for:
- Conducting environmental impact assessments and propose mitigation strategies.
- Leading remediation and restoration projects to enhance habitats and ecosystems.
- Designing and implementing renewable energy solutions to reduce the carbon footprint.
- Developing waste management and water resource conservation strategies.
- Integrating sustainability into infrastructure design and urban planning.
- Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and permits.
- Analyzing data and presenting findings to stakeholders.
The Senior/Principal Environmental Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).
- EIT or PE (professional engineering license) strongly preferred
- Experience in environmental engineering projects, particularly in San Francisco.
- Familiarity with local and federal environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in environmental modeling and GIS software.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Passionate about sustainability and environmental preservation.
