Title: Regional QC Manager - Heavy Civil Projects

Overview:
We are a leading general contractor specializing in heavy civil projects such as light rail transit, bridges, underground utilities, heavy highway, and more. We are seeking a Regional QC Manager to oversee our quality control operations in the Seattle region. The successful candidate will ensure that our projects meet or exceed all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control policies and procedures for our heavy civil projects in the Seattle region
- Manage and lead a team of quality control professionals to ensure that all projects meet or exceed quality standards
- Provide training and support to employees to ensure compliance with quality control processes and procedures
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality control processes and procedures and make recommendations for improvements
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that quality control is integrated into all aspects of our operations
- Ensure that all quality control activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in quality control in the heavy civil construction industry
- Experience managing a team of quality control professionals
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to quality control in the heavy civil construction industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control in the heavy civil construction industry
- Experience managing a team of quality control professionals
