Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced RCDD Engineer to join our team and play a key role in managing our current workload, mentoring and training electrical designers and junior staff members in low-voltage systems, and contributing to our business development efforts through our existing client base.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Manage the execution of low-voltage system projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate project schedules, resources, and deliverables to meet client expectations.
Mentorship and Training:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to electrical designers and junior team members, helping them develop their skills and expertise in low-voltage systems.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the team's knowledge and capabilities.
Technical Expertise:
- Utilize your expertise as an RCDD Engineer to design and engineer complex low-voltage systems, including structured cabling, data networks, and communication solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, standards, and best practices to ensure our designs are cutting-edge.
Client Relationship Management:
- Engage with our existing client base to understand their evolving needs and preferences.
- Participate in business development efforts by identifying opportunities for up selling or expanding services to meet client demands.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Create detailed project documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and project reports.
- Provide regular project status updates to management and clients.
Qualifications:
- Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
- Proven experience in the design and implementation of low-voltage systems.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to lead project teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
