We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA/QC Lead to join our dynamic team in Taiwan. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in engineering, with experience in electrical, chemistry, or material engineering, and a proven track record as a People Manager/Supervisor. This role is crucial for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in our offshore wind manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance and Control:
- Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC systems and procedures to ensure product quality meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee and coordinate quality control activities including inspections, testing, and documentation to verify compliance with specifications and standards.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for quality issues and non-conformances.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address and resolve quality-related concerns.
People Management:
- Supervise and mentor a team of QA/QC professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Provide training and development opportunities for QA/QC staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Conduct performance evaluations and manage personnel issues in alignment with company policies.
Engineering Expertise:
- Apply technical expertise in electrical, chemistry, or material engineering to guide QA/QC processes and decision-making.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure that product designs and materials meet quality standards and specifications.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality control activities, test results, and inspection reports.
- Prepare and present regular reports on QA/QC performance, trends, and improvements to senior management.
Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure compliance with international quality standards, industry best practices, and local regulations.
- Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in quality control methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a QA/QC leadership role, with a strong background in people management and supervision.
- Technical Skills: Proven expertise in QA/QC processes, quality management systems, and engineering principles related to electrical, chemistry, or material engineering.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team effectively.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
