We have a current opportunity for a Protection & Controls Engineer on a permanent basis. The position will be based in the Greater San Antonio area and after training, is hybrid flexible. Please see below for some key qualities we are looking for.
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Strong written & verbal skills
- 6+ years experience in Protection & Controls (utility/power industry)
- Substation Relay & schematic experience
- Familiar with SCADA & communications interfaces (TUs, HMIs, IEDs, etc...)
- Aware of EC, NEC, IEEE, UL Electrical Codes/Standards
- Availability to travel into the office and occasionally on overnight trips to project sites
- Other duties as assigned

- P.E. Certification
