Position: Proposal Manager (Virginia, VA Experience Required)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Proposal Manager to lead the development of proposals for the Department of Veterans Affairs and other federal agencies. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing the proposal process from start to finish, including coordinating and leading proposal teams, developing proposal strategies, and writing and editing proposal content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead proposal teams and manage the proposal process from start to finish
- Develop proposal strategies and win themes
- Write and edit proposal content, including technical and management sections
- Coordinate with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to gather information and develop proposal content
- Ensure proposal compliance with RFP requirements and government regulations
- Prepare and deliver proposal oral presentations
- Manage proposal schedules and deadlines
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in proposal management, with a focus on VA and other federal agencies
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Experience leading proposal teams and coordinating with subject matter experts
- Familiarity with government regulations and RFP requirements
- Strong project management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
This is a full-time position, based in Virginia. Candidates must have current clearance and experience with the VA.
