I am currently working with one of the Leading and most forward thinking Solar Contractors in the US. They have a strong project pipeline throughout the Midwest! They are looking for a Project Manager to oversee their upcoming portfolio with Travel and Remote work.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
- First and foremost, ensuring the Safety, Quality and Construction Standards
- Travel up to 75% with all other work being remote
- Coordinating with both the internal team as well as the subcontractors for Scheduling
- Responsible for creating a budget for Materials and Labor
- Acting as the lead liaison between the customer and the internal teams
- Create Project Scope
- AHJ Permitting Applications
- EDC Interconnection Applications
- Repair, troubleshoot, test and inspect all of the equipment such as the conduits, inverters, transformers, breakers, switch-gear and SCADA equipment
Supervisory Responsibilities of the Project Manager:
This individual must comply and enforce to the companies policies and applicable laws. This includes but is not limited to:
- Maintaining safe working conditions
- Maintaining high quality standards
- Training employees
- Planning, assigning and directing the work flow
- Supervise Installers, Employees and Subcontractors
Project Manager Education/Experience:
- Preferably a Bachelors Degree in Construction/Project Management or a minimum of 5 years equivalent experience
- 2 years of Solar experience
- 2 years in a management or operations role
- Proven ability to lead and manage projects for installations, O&M and Troubleshooting
- Highly experienced with NEC and building codes
