Our client is a leading international company in the renewable energy sector, specializing in solar energy projects across multiple countries. They are committed to driving sustainable development and seek to expand their team with a Technical Project Manager who has a strong engineering background.
Role Overview: As a Technical Project Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of solar energy projects. You will be responsible for managing technical aspects, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires a deep understanding of solar engineering, project management skills, and proficiency in English to work effectively within a multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end management of solar projects, from planning and design to commissioning and handover.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget, and monitor progress to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct technical assessments and provide solutions for any challenges encountered during project development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure project requirements are met.
- Ensure compliance with international standards, safety regulations, and local environmental laws throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the project team.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or related field). A Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in managing solar energy projects, with a strong technical and engineering focus.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken, with experience working in an international environment.
- Strong understanding of solar power systems, grid connections, and relevant technical standards.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly assess situations and make informed decisions.
- Willingness to travel as required for project needs.
