My Client is a large engineering firm, and one of the contracted companies who are actively working on the energy transition within Germany. They are in an exciting phase and are looking to grow their engineering team to help fulfil the demands of the energy transition!
They are looking for a Project Lead to get involved with these exciting projects. The candidate is to be located within the Schleswig-Holstein region, North Germany, or able to commute to this area, but the role offers flexible working. The role requires good experience of permit approvals. Below is a a general overview of responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- As you are experienced, you know how to gain approval from the relevant authorities from the state and at local level
- You will oversee the project planners and the engineering office, ensuring correct preparation of documents required for federal sector planning, spatial planning and different approval procedures with a keen focus on the up-most quality
- You are responsible for planning and preparing the approval documents required for a section of the HVDC link
Requirements:
- Preferably have a good understanding of the framework conditions of NABEG and infrastructure planning
- Able to work in a team and independently, can be assertive where required and have the ability to be persuasive
- Hold a category B driving license, enabling you to go on occasional business trips
- Degree in geosciences, industrial/civil engineering, surveying, environmental planning or something similar
- You have previous experience in this role, with a focus on planning approval process
