Principal Architect (Top-10 ENR Ranked Midwestern Firm)
Seeking talented individuals with leadership qualities and goals. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to participate in all project phases and act as an integral part of the firm. Principal roles are currently open within multiple project disciplines.
The Principal Architect will be responsible for:
- Work with discipline leads, Project Managers, and design team to achieve client goals
- Client relationship management including lead development, terms negotiation, market strategy, and risk assessment
- Lead and mentor professional staff through example, coordinate with other Principals on learning directives, and work with project leads on team structure
The Principal Architect should have the following qualifications and abilities:
- At least 12 years of design experience within:
- Healthcare, Healthcare Planning, S&T, or Higher Education
- Registered Architect (AIA or NCARB preferred)
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture or closely related field
- Must possess design, leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Have a sense of ownership and accountability
- Computer skills required:
- Microsoft Office
- Experience with Deltek Vision preferred
- Revit, Sketchup, Bluebeam
- Adobe: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
