A key client in the Pharmaceutical space are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Process Engineer to join a dynamic team and contribute to the development and improvement of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. The successful applicant will be responsible for optimizing production operations, ensuring process efficiency and safety, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. As a Pharmaceutical Lead Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and supervising manufacturing processes to meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Analyse existing pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Design and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research and development, production, and quality control, to ensure smooth functioning of the manufacturing process.
- Develop and validate new manufacturing processes and technologies by conducting experiments, trials, and feasibility studies.
- Monitor process parameters and performance indicators to ensure adherence to product specifications and regulatory standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to manufacturing processes, work instructions, and batch records.
- Train production staff on processes and provide support and guidance during process execution.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Process Engineer in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.
- Familiarity with cGMP regulations and FDA guidelines governing pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset.
