Role Overview:
The On-site Electrical Engineer will play a crucial role in our project execution team, providing hands-on expertise and support for the installation of electrical components related to our solar energy projects. This role requires in-depth knowledge of 161/22.8kV equipment and practical experience in installing transformers, switchgears, and cables on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
On-site Installation: Collaborate with the construction team and actively participate in the installation, testing, and commissioning of 161/22.8kV electrical equipment, including transformers, switchgears, and cables, ensuring accurate implementation as per engineering designs and project requirements.
Technical Expertise: Offer technical guidance and insights to the on-site team, resolving any installation challenges and providing recommendations to optimize electrical systems' performance.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all electrical components and systems are installed in compliance with industry standards, company guidelines, and project specifications, maintaining the highest levels of quality and safety.
Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during the installation process, proactively resolving them to prevent delays or setbacks.
Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and company policies during on-site activities, promoting a strong safety culture among the on-site personnel.
Collaboration: Work closely with the project management team, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure effective coordination and communication, contributing to the overall success of solar energy projects.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to on-site electrical activities, including installation reports, test results, and progress updates.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven hands-on experience in on-site electrical installation work for solar energy projects, with expertise in 161/22.8kV electrical equipment, transformers, switchgears, and cable systems.
- Familiarity with relevant industry codes, standards, and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
