We are seeking an experienced Interior Superintendent to join our dynamic team for multifamily construction projects in the vibrant Sarasota area.
Job Overview
As the Interior Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the interior construction process of multifamily projects from start to finish. You will work closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and high-quality completion of interior finishes while maintaining safety, budget, and schedule adherence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily on-site activities related to interior construction and finishes, including drywall, painting, flooring, mill work, and more.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure all aspects of interior work meet project specifications and time lines.
- Oversee quality control, ensuring interior work is completed to the highest standards.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, ensure compliance with plans and specifications, and enforce safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues related to interior scopes of work.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, logs, and schedules.
- Collaborate with other Superintendents and construction personnel to ensure overall project success.
- Ensure all local, state, and federal building codes and safety regulations are followed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or similar role in multifamily construction, with a focus on interior finishes.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, interior finishes, and trade coordination.
- Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and vendors efficiently.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret and understand blueprints, plans, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in construction management software is a plus.
- OSHA certification preferred.
- Ability to work in Sarasota, FL and surrounding areas.
