We have a current opportunity for a Mid-level Traffic Engineer in Central Florida

This position will support design-related services for highway, state, city, and county roadway transportation projects, including design-build projects
Duties:
Prepare Plan, Specification and Estimate (PS&E) plans, which include designs for traffic signals, pavement markings, lighting, and intelligent transportation system plans; design and implementation of signal systems and interconnects, traffic safety study reports, operational analyses of intersections and interchanges using HCS, SYNCHRO, SIMTRAFFIC, and other applicable transportation engineering models; and analysis, optimization, implementation, and fine-tuning of traffic system timing.
Candidate Qualifications
- 4-6 years experience in traffic engineering or related fields
- EIT or PE is a plus
- Knowledge of FDOT standard design softwares including but not limited to Synchro, AutoCad, VISSIM, MatLAB, SIMTRAFFIC, HCS
Salary depends on experience.
